#Photoshop cs5 portable wont launch Pc
Talking about PC here, assume MAC would be the same. When you have CS set up the way you like it, make of copy of the prefs file and when ever it starts running a bit fruity, just reload the copy and most times all will be happy again. Should I really delete the Workspace Prefs.psp thing that's on my desktop? Thank you very much! I dragged the Workspace Prefs.psp file onto my desktop and Photoshop works again. You can then trash the old one if that fixes the problem. You'll find it in your Preference folder in your Library folder of your user account on a Mac, just drag it out on to your desktop and PS will write a fresh one next time it launches.
I don't know what you mean be plist files, and I was wondering what exactly you did to solve the problem. thanks!ĭavidpalermo, my version of Photoshop CS5 is having the exact same problem. I deleted some plist files and all is well now. Anyone else having this problem? I'm on a Mac. I uninstalled and then reinstalled using Adobe's uninstaller and installer.
I get the above error now and it won't work. I have been using PS CS5 for a week or so. "Could not initialize Photoshop because the preferences file was invalid (it has been deleted)."
